The beautiful thing about Jeanna Smialek's new book is that its core thesis has been tested and proven out in unbelievably prescient ways in just the 6 weeks since it came out.

47. Janet and George w/Jon Hilsenrath
A conversation with WSJ reporter, Jon Hilsenrath, about his book on the love story of Janet and George and the way they broke through in the economics field and in policy. I enjoyed this conversation as much as I loved the book. Even if you think you know Yellen's story - this podcast will show a depth and insight that I promise will delightfully surprise you!

Fantastic and entertaining podcast
Excellent! Absolutely recommend this podcast for the in-depth yet surprisingly entertaining coverage of all things central bank.
Eagerly awaiting for every new episode.
Interviewer needs courses on public speaking
Guests are interesting but interviewer does not organize their thoughts well to ask questions. They ramble on and also seem to interject strange remarks that suggest that they are not attending to what the guests are saying, like “there’s a lot of good stuff there”. Unclear if recording is just very taxing or not paying attention.
