When it comes to improving your health, weight, energy, or sleep, have you ever said… just tell me what to do and I’ll do it? You are looking for the thing to do to get the result.Or the other one that I hear is that you will tell me that you know exactly what you’re supposed to do.Let’s break this down. If you know what you are supposed to do, why aren’t you doing it? And if you are doing the thing the expert tells you to do, why isn’t it working? And when you start, why is it such a struggle to stay committed to the plan?In this episode, we will answer the question… why is it that goal-setting methods work for high achievers with their careers and families and most other areas of their lives, but these same methods don’t work when it comes to getting healthier?Together, we will unpack:The right and wrong time to set goals to achieve better health. Why goal-setting methods work for high achievers, but these same methods don’t work when it comes to getting healthier. Why you might be stuck in the perfectionist trap and how to break out of it.Three ways to create your future self, without goal setting.Mentioned Resources:▶️ Episode 110: Your Comeback Experience Part 1 (R = Rear View Mirror)▶️ Episode 111: Your Comeback Experience Part 2 (O = Own Your Ship) Connect with Holly:▶️ REGISTER FOR THE *FREE* PRIVATE PODCAST SERIES - YOUR COMEBACK EXPERIENCE - podcastholly.com▶️ Book Your Complimentary Discovery Call - calendarholly.com▶️ Follow Holly Bertone on Instagram - @holly.bertone ▶️ More resources for Your Comeback Story - yourcomeback.coach If today's episode resonated with you, be sure to hit the follow button where you are listening and also tap those 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and leave a great review because it would mean so much to me to hang out with you every week and because it will also help to get this podcast and our wonderful message out to more listeners!
