All the writer’s tools you’d need!

Jamie, Jimmy and Bob look at some of the finest in cheeseburger cinema. Using these popular films To brake down what tropes and tools writers can use to hone their craft and create scripts that will appeal to a wide audience. While their reviews are instructive the trio are also widely entertaining and have great camaraderie with one another bonding over their shared blockbuster love.

“It tracks!”

Writers Blockbusters is an incredibly entertaining and informative podcast, a deep dive into the magic behind how movies are written. I am not a screenwriter or moviemaker by any stretch of the imagination, but I have been enriched by learning the psychology behind how these stories are crafted and the way it affects us as the viewer. Equally technical and soul searching, the hosts aren’t shy to share their life experiences and I appreciate it deeply. Now, let’s take a look at that box office!

Be Still My Movie Loving Heart

Writers/Blockbuster is one of my favorite movie podcasts to listen to. Bob, Jamie, and Jimmy all give really interesting insight not just into the world of screenwriting but also storytelling in general. They’re all really funny to listen to and make you feel like you’re apart of their movie appreciation club. To say I missed them during quarantine would be an understatement. Keep doing what you’re doing guys!
