In this last episode of season 2 of Latine ADHD podcast, we learn about how to find motivation and manage the feeling of boredom, especially if you have ADHD. I talk about two types of motivation: extrinsic (rewards like money and trophies) and intrinsic (doing things because you enjoy them). I will share tips inspired by Dr. Tamara Rosier’s book, “Your Brain’s not broken,” to help you feel motivated, like knowing why you're doing a task, imagining how good you'll feel when it's done, and changing your self-talk. Plus, you can get a FREE worksheet to help stop avoiding tasks by signing up for my newsletter (see link below). Remember, this podcast is a helpful space, not a replacement for therapy.
