How to Honor and Serve Moms with Missie Branch
Often the first girls minister a teen girl will ever have is a mom. And because she is one of the primary disciple makers of her daughter, churches should celebrate, honor, and support her every chance we get! In today's episode, we talk about how we can do a better job at that. So if you know a mom, send this episode to her today and let her know how much she means to you.
We are excited to have author, Missie Branch, on the podcast today! Missie Branch serves as vice president of Community Engagement for Life Collective, Inc. She is a graduate of Southeastern Seminary with a masters in ethics, theology, and culture. Missie is married to Duce, and together they have four children. She enjoys reading, music, documentaries, walking, and good coffee. She is passionate about discipleship, theology, and ethics. Missie is a contributing author to ”The Whole Woman: Ministering to Her Heart, Soul, Mind, and Strength” and ”Women & Work: Bearing God’s Image and Joining in His Mission Through Our Work.”She is also the cohost of the Women & Work Podcast and is currently serving as a trustee for Charleston Southern University as well as the past chairman of the Board of Trustees at Lifeway Christian Resources.

Submission vs. Surrender with Kristi McLelland
In September of 2023, the team at Lifeway (including Amanda!) went to Israel with Kristi McLelland to record video teachings for her upcoming women's and teen girls' Bible study, Luke in the Land. While the trip was an incredible experience, Kristi wrestled with the Lord behind the scenes especially when the events in Israel on October 7 took place. She recently shared with the team what God taught her through it all, and we knew this was a conversation we needed to record.
If God is asking you to put your yes on the table and walk in obedience, we hope this episode will encourage you to walk in surrender to a good, trustworthy God.

Asking Good Questions
Welcome back to Season 3 of His Glory, Her Good!
What do you do when a table of girls are staring back at you with blank faces? How do you transition from a silly conversation to an intentional one without being awkward? What does an invitation and response time look like for your student ministry?
It may feel minor, but becoming a good question asker can transform the way you answer those questions AND the way you lead in student ministry. When you are intentional with what questions you ask and how you ask them, you are creating a safe space for authenticity and vulnerability to cultivate.
We can't wait to hear what you think about this episode!

Rest, Rest, Rest
Why does rest often feel like an idea that seems just out of reach? We know God commands us to rest, but what does that actually look like when ministry and life feel all-consuming at times?
In our final episode of Season 2, you'll hear how we've struggled to know how to rest and the lies that have kept us from resting. Yet through this conversation, we'll recall the gift and joy found in resting in who God is and His completed work.

Excellent!
I’m so excited for my friend Amanda as she and Corinne launch this podcast. I’ve seen firsthand the heart and passion she has for girls ministry, girls ministry leaders (both women and men ministering to girls), and for teen girls themselves. God has uniquely gifted her in this calling and I know you will benefit from this podcast greatly.
