Crying in My Jacuzzi with Dana Balicki

Enjoyed the holiday episode on self-warmth and nervous system soothing. Been working thru chronic “neural circuit dizziness” for 6 months! that started after a cruise + COVID last fall. While 3 months of vestibular rehab therapy helped with physical symptoms and retraining brain, I feel the emotional part of this is overlooked. There is frustration and a bit of panic over how long this has lasted. Loved vagus nerve exercise of self-hug! Naming my emotions, as Dana suggested, brings up anxiety & fear as well as anger at my family’s dismissal of what is trivial to them but very real for me as I navigate every step disoriented and in trepidation. While I’m still experiencing the vertigo, I can use these tools to accept this state and move forward. Thank you, Dana!

Dana has helped me over the years to radically step into a deeper self. Her authentic expression is medicine- always has been, always will be.
