Without their star player the Trashers’ kid owner turns to a childhood hero for help. But as their new player arrives in downtown Danbury, he’s noticing something strange about his new employer. The Trashers seem to be on a collision course that not even an NHL star can help them avoid.

This was one of the best first episodes of a podcast I’ve heard in a long time. (And every subsequent episode I’ve heard holds up.)

Watch Netflix Doc Instead
The Netflix documentary about this topic is Untold: Crime and Penalties. I would recommend watching that instead of listening to this pod. The documentary is more thorough, thoughtful and interesting.
