Fire up your Bunsen burners and join award-winning comedian Laura Lexx as she attempts to pass her Science GCSEs (all over again) with the help of nerdy younger brother, Ron.

Every week the squabbling siblings dissect a topic from the baddest educational document on the planet - the UK’s National Curriculum.

Microbiology, magnetism, manganese…can long-suffering Ron explain atomic structures or will Laura be forever banging her head against the periodic table?

Whether you love thermodynamics - or ridiculous family dynamics - Lexx Education takes you back to your school days to find out whether it’s possible to relearn your GCSEs…or be forever doomed to looking things up on Wikipedia.

Hello and welcome to another episode of Lexx Education! It's the comedy science podcast where comedian Laura Lexx tries to learn science from her non-comedian science loving younger brother Ron!
Ron didn't make any episode notes for this, our 99th episode and when I messaged him to ask him what it was about so I could write this he said "Biology, selective breeding - we don't get much done at all. Basically just talk about cabbage and broccoli." I think for the nine millionth time he talks about Barbara Brocolli.
Anyway, become a patron, leave us a five star review and buy Laura's books and tour tickets. Thanks x

Laura and Ron are back at it again, with Ron fresh from a holiday and Laura gearing up for her own getaway. Amidst the banter, they touch upon the potential pitfalls of selective breeding, like the risk of reducing genetic diversity and inadvertently passing on undesirable traits. But it's not all serious science talk; expect a hefty dose of classic Lexx humor, including a debate on whether the Romans had tea and the comedic potential of tea towels.

This week on the podcast... Ron talks us through how to make hummus, Laura and Ron discuss food for a long time - must have been a lunch record. But they don’t eat anything in the episode so that’s good.
We almost get on to the science but then Laura befuddles us again with a discussion of mind casting.

We cover a summary of energy sources: wind power, solar power, and then things get a bit derailed when Laura devises a theory that tidal and wave power are both lunar power due to the moon being something to do with the sea.

Hello and welcome to another episode of Lexx Education! If you're looking for a bingeworthy podcast full of laughs and regular episodes then look no further than Lexx Education! It's packed with British humour from brother sister duo Ron and Laura who are marching slowly methodically painfully and hilariously through the GCSE science syllabus with limited results.
This week after a bit of a nostalgic start discussing the Frosties kid and how terrible the advert song was, the dynamic duo are back in chemistry. This week they are looking at all sorts of things like air pollution and to make it a bit more copeable for Laura and her chronic climate anxiety, Ron is leaning on the amazing book "Not The End of the World" by Hannah Ritchie.
We cover all sorts this week but basically 98% of it is not science.

This week, we have come to the end of the physics syllabus and so Ron and Laura are revising the beginnings of physics. We look back over the first few months of how we started with the physics... looking at energy and... resultant forces. Yikes.

I love Lexx Education and Laura Lexx is a brilliant comedian. Ron gets some good ones in too. Even through all the squabbling, you can tell they love each other. It’s got heart. It’s funny. It’s interesting. Check out Laura’s other podcast National Treasures.
