Meet Deanna, your new biz bestie!

This podcast is a crash course in how to have fun and make money in your business. Deanna’s funny and honest approach is so refreshing in a world of online “gurus” who would have you believe only they hold the secret to success. I love the solo episodes because it feels like sitting down for a pep talk with a smart and savvy biz bestie, but the episodes with guests are also incredibly helpful. You’ll take away actionable tips for making simple but high-impact changes that serve you and your potential clients/customers/audience.

A must listen for creative entrepreneurs

If you feel like you don’t fit in the “box” of the marketing advice you see everywhere… close all your tabs and just start listening to Deanna! She’s fun, creative and super smart about branding and online marketing. I’ve worked with her to implement a Static 9 grid on my instagram account and I’m really happy with the results so far! Think outside the box and listen to Deanna’s podcast!

Deanna is Your Keep-It-Real Supportive BFF

I first heard about this podcast from a biz friend. I work in the same industry as Deanna and so much of what is out there in terms of “support” or “tips” is unrelatable, unsustainable, dry, bland, makes me feel bad, or is delivered in a bizarrely chipper way that makes me want to throw my phone into the street and back over it with my car.

But not Deanna’s podcast.

She offers practical and simple advice for real people who own businesses, her tone is upbeat but not obnoxiously over-positive, and she shares parts of her own life and business that are very relatable (“I’m not trying to have a 7-figure business; me and my husband are two punks raising kids in the suburbs of Richmond, Virginia”).

I’d recommend this podcast to anyone who gives a hard eye roll to influencer types and wants encouragement that they can have their business AND have a life (while also saying no to stuff you’ve been told you HAVE to do as a biz owner).
