Prioritizing the Lesson in the Moment

Prioritizing the Lesson in the Moment

Life is full of lessons. For kids, those lessons, just like life, can come at them quick. As parents, we have to use our judgement to decide when and where to teach those lessons. When our little is having a full meltdown, trying to teach them why whatever happened to them is causing issues isn't the best time. We parents have to have better timing because if we really want our kids to learn the lesson, then they need to be in a state that allows them to take in the info you are trying to teach. This week on the podcast, Charisse discusses when it’s the right time to teach these lessons and how to make sure your child actually listens and learns from that lesson! Happy Parenting Friends!

So needed! So glad I found this!

Wish I’d found it sooner. My girls are 18 and 15, yikes…I’d love to hear you speak with the occasional guest addressing parenting of older teens and young adults. As you know, we don’t stop parenting just cause they grow up, it’s just different. Either way, I’ll be listening, lots of what’s discussed here applies either way.
