The amount of ads on the first episode make this too annoying to get through, otherwise I'd be all over it. It seemed like every few minutes there was a long ad break, as if there was something wrong with the feed?

He's a little too full of himself but one observation and maybe a topic for a podcast. The Office IS a phenomenon, it is a GREAT and extremely entertaining show. It is one of the all time best. But let's not forget the audience love, connections and impacts of some which came before. All in the Family, M.A.S.H., Cheers, Mary Tyler Moore, Bob Newhart (twice) Seinfeld and even Frazier. The Office fits in with them.. but ranking any of them as the "best in television history" is really subjective and..the most recent. All had goodbyes that were sad and noteworthy and success in syndication.
