Season 1 Was Amazing

Season 1 was extremely captivating and intriguing and I binged it. I wanted to hear just how the story was going to unravel.

*** SPOILERS***

Season 2 was a train wreck. The story didn’t seem to follow any sort of direction and the ending was terrible. Season 2 felt like a first draft. Like the whole thing with her having cancer just like suddenly, which was never mentioned in S1. Or how the writers tried to throw in a callback waaay too late in the season—that being the wizard of oz thing. Should have put that in the beginning of the season so you could have played off it, it would have seemed more natural.

I was so excited that there was a second season, but half the time it didn’t feel like it was the same show as season one.

It was also really clear that this was written by men. The way the women spoke to eachother is really unrealistic. Girls don’t call eachother “princess”. I also thought it strange how all the women characters were like not the best people. Chase really should have had a close girl-friend who she told everything to, or at least her bar tender friend should have been more present.

Anyways, season 1 was thrilling. Reminded me of RABBITS, and The Left Right Game. I stayed up past my bedtime listening to shows. The drive to find out what could have possibly happened to her father was such an irresistible story. I had really hoped it was going to be time travel.

This is really great as a first podcast. There’s lots of good things and lots of things that need improvement. Good luck!
