Great Idea For A Podcast

I just found this podcast. I LOVED IT!! Too bad it didn’t continue.

Absolutely Delightful

A taste of what was clearly a work of love. For those who remember them, George & Gracie were unique; two comedy pros who found their act when George recognized the effortless genius of Gracie’s wonderful askew perspective and was smart enough to follow her lead. Kevin Sebastian is as generous a performer as George was, willing to let his Gracie shine, and Lauren Milberger, who wrote the play, doesn’t so much play Gracie as inhabit her. A lovely trip done memory lane for some, a new discovery for others. Makes me want to go on YouTube and find old clips. And nice job as always, Stephen Tobolowsky!

Great show worthy of support!

Just finished Season 1 and hope Season 2 follows fast. The writing is crisp and neatly captures transformative moments that made Burns and Allen so entertaining (and they certainly hold their own today). Already I’ve learned key new things. In particular, the evolution of their unique repartee unrolls playfully and naturally. Encore!
