ATG 169: Who’s Afraid of the C-Word? (Commitment)
What if my myriad goals signify creativity rather than chaos? In my latest podcast, I explore the common dilemma of having too many goals. I outline the four stages of goal achievement— Dream, Plan, Do, Review—underscoring how boundless imagination thrives in the Dream stage but falters with commitment. Fear of choosing the wrong goal and wasting time looms large. Drawing from personal experience, I confess my struggle with commitment, fearing the loss of subscribers and creativity. I stress the importance of small commitments to build momentum, urging you to confront your fear of commitment and unlock the rewards of focused pursuit.

Customer Reviews
Enhance your life by listening!
Recently I was unexpectedly laid off after 25 years with the same company. I told friends that all those hours listening to John Acuff while dog walking are paying off! I feel motivated, encouraged, and excited to try something new. Corny, but the podcast has made me a stronger, more resilient person.
Love the energy
I listened to his Book, all it Takes is a goal. It’s a great book and his podcast is great! He gives small steps forward to help with your, you guessed it, goals.
