This is a cracking episode and I can't wait to share it with you! I meet up with 69 year old Anette - in Keswick - To chat about all things outdoors from hill walking to mountaineering, winter climbing, bivvying, and wild swimming. Annette has some incredible stories from her adventures and isn't stopping any time soon.  There is a slight technical issue with the episode - I was always worried that being on the road something would corrupt on the audio, and in this conversation it unfortunately has, and the original first 10 minutes were lost. Annette has kindly rerecorded the first part of the story and hopefully the technical error won't deter from Annettes incredible life. With huge thanks to Francesca Turauskis who edited this episode.  In the episode we talk about:  How Anette got into the outdoors - starting right from leaving school at 16 - to working as a social worker - and going on her first trip with students to Snowdon  Learning to climb, and hillwalking taking weekends up to Scotland Studying a Law degree and moving to Kendal  Going on group trips as a solo traveller and learning more tech climbing skills.  Getting into wild swimming in her 60's - having previously found the cold too painful  and Annettes love of the outdoors  As well as all the usual questions!       Annette isn't really on socials, you can find her:  https://www.instagram.com/nettygrogan/ Or reach out through me and I can pass a message on!  Find out more at https://www.extraordinaryordinarywomxn.co https://www.instagram.com/extraordinaryordinaryyou/ And if you are looking to support the podcast find out more at https://www.extraordinaryordinarywomxn.co/support Music is by Broke for Free xxx
