• NEWS: Stuff to bring us up to speed on the revolution o Console • “revolutionary” • Codename revolution • Will be able to download any Nintendo console game • Not HD as of yet. • About the same speed as an xbox1 o Controller • Gyroscopic. • Two handed (wish the 360 was two handed) carpel shoulder • Claims Can play any Nintendo game ever. • DS as controller? o Moderately recent announcements.  March 23. announced deal to also have many Sega geninisis games available for download • Nothing on any other systems. • Will we have to pay for these?  april 13- Red Steel officially announced • Ubisoft CEO yannis mallat calls it a “magical platform” • game a little different from Nintendo usual with a sort of GTA theme.  April 19th show “flight game” at E3 that uses gesture sensitive controller. • NINTENDO WIFI • Metroid Prime Hunters • Tetris DS • Animal Crossing • Lost Magic (coming soon) • Tony Hawk • Personalized stats o Which aren’t always up, or accurate  Especially tetris DS • UPCOMING RELEASES • DS o Brain age, yesterday o New super Mario bros May 15th o Big Brain academy june 5th • GCN o HM: Magical Melody released o Odama – April 10th o XMen – “May” o “Zelda – Twilight Princess” 2006 • Game of the Week • Brain Age • Launched April 18th, 2006 in USA • $19.99 • SPECS o Up to 4 separate training files o Can play locally with up to 16 players  Games like 30 math problems • Sudoku o Three types  Basic  Intermediate  ??? --- advanced o Two ways to play  Error checking – 5 mistake max • 20 minute penalty for each incorrect number  No error checking • TRAINING o Start with three activities o When you complete them all for the day, in the beginning you unlock new training o Check your brain age • SPOKEN • UNSPOKEN o TIPS and SECRETS • Dr. K. will give you tips and tricks daily • Glasses, Glasses • Press select on Graphs • Not a secret, but if you are looking at a top three list, tap the score to see the name of the person who holds the score o OTHER --- DRAWING AND RANDOM QUESTIONS  After a few days, dr. K will ask you to draw three different things • Compare them to his drawings, tells you what to focus on • After everyone completes the drawings, they’re displayed for you to compare  Asks you various questions o GRAPHS • Show your progress for both brain age and training events o TRAINING GAMES  Math x 20  Math x 100  Reading Aloud  Low to High  Syllable Count  ??? (Triangle Count) • Add numbers together vertically  ??? (Time Lapse) • Shown two clocks give the time difference  ??? (Voice Calculation) • Solve and speak  ??? (Head Count) • Watch people go in and out, give final count of inside o QUICK PLAY • Brain age check, to the decade • One training type (Math x 20) • One sudoku puzzle – only mistake check mode o SETTINGS • Change signature • Change “handedness” • ??? (change stamp)
