We're glocal (Global+Local). That means we're not just looking at our connections to the places we're from but also the places we are today.

Since the second week of October 2020, Nigerians have taken the streets in protest to demand the end of the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) police unit.  In this podcast we break down the issues with interviews from those on the ground in Nigeria to help paint a picture of the situation. To commemorate sixty years of Nigerian independence we created a photo + audio documentary project SIXTY as part of Sort of Nigerian. In Episode Six Oseremen flew solo to speak to friend of the pod Femi Jegede from The Flawed Travelers. We touched on the travel blog and the realities of traveling while black, her experience as a first time IJGB in Lagos, moving from Nigeria to Canada and much more. 
Victor and Oseremen got on a zoom call to talk about the Black Lives Matter Movement. The episode touches on the death of George Floyd, Canadian racism, whether Nigerians have the range to talk about race, and the importance of indigenous solidarity within Canada's black lives matter movement.
