Leticia Britos Cavagnaro, Ph.D., is a scientist turned designer who has created and facilitated a wide range of learning experiences in design, creativity, and innovation at the Stanford d.school and beyond. Her creative methods include the use of emerging technologies to help people grow as self-directed, action-oriented, reflective, and responsible shapers of the future. She co-directs the University Innovation Fellows Program and is an adjunct professor at the Stanford d.school. She is the author of the d.school guide Experiments in Reflection: How to See the Present, Reconsider the Past, and Shape the Future, published by Ten Speed Press in November 2023. Leticia has a PhD in developmental biology from Stanford University and is a former member of the Research in Education & Design Lab. Sam Green (Director | Writer | Editor) is a New York-based documentary filmmaker. His latest film is 32 Sounds. Green’s other recent live documentaries include A Thousand Thoughts (with the Kronos Quartet) (2018), The Measure of All Things (2014), The Love Song of R. Buckminster Fuller (with Yo La Tengo) (2012), and Utopia in Four Movements (2010). With all of these works, Green narrates the film in-person while musicians perform a live soundtrack. Green’s 2004 feature-length film, The Weather Underground, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, was nominated for an Academy Award, was included in the Whitney Biennial, and has screened widely around the world.
