Makes current Viking research accessible

The Viking era is culturally prominent now, but public understanding of the Vikings is horribly outdated and based on inaccurate stereotypes. This podcast does a great job of addressing the misconceptions and misinformation about Viking age conceptions of gender in a way that's accessible to non academics.

Excellent scholarly dive into an underdiscussed topic

Gender and sexuality in history are generally far more complex than most people would think, and the topic is severely under discussed. This podcast takes a dive into the viking age to discuss queerness and sexuality. It’s a fascinating listen and I hope she continues the podcast!
