What is Clubhouse?

Welcome back! It's our first episode of season 2! Can you believe it?! we celebrate the new year, by wishing Melissa a happy birthday then talk about what we watched over the break. Melissa watched Handmaid's Tale and Terri went for Bridgerton. Then CLUBHOUSE came onto the scene and we've been taking a deep dive into this new, audio only, social app. It's like live radio and you're the DJ. Terri is loving hosting rooms and Melissa is listening in and learning. If you're eager to get on Clubhouse, listen in!

49. Midlife Conversations, Movies & Cocktails

We’re talking about difficult conversations surrounding the election and COVID and how we (mostly Melissa), put the lessons we learned from our last episode to use. We move from serious to light with singing in the car, turning our mentions of cheerleading into a game and we talk about our Weekend Watch. We both loved The Queen’s Gambit, Had all sorts of thoughts on the Netflix holiday movie, Dash & Lily and sang a few bars of Terri’s favorite Christmas song, Fairytale of New York (Not Galway Christmas) by the Pogues. Melissa finished Schitts Creek, watched PBS’s Rise of the Nazis https://www.pbs.org/show/rise-nazis/. We’re both watching The Undoing and both think it’s fun to have to wait for something that’s good. Terri adapted a cocktail and infused her own vodka with chai spices. It was a bit extra, but totally worth it! Chai Spiced Mule https://www.liquor.com/recipes/chai-spice-mule/ Keep sending us your splits. 47.How to be Flexible in Midlife

In this episode Terri & Melissa wonder where their flexibility went. Are the days of death drops and center splits gone forever? If Kyle Richards from RHOBH can do them, can our hosts? We'll be following this Youtube video for a month and might post our own videos in our PRIVATE Facebook group. It's Ladies only in this group, sorry guys! This week's cocktail is the Clermeil. You can find the recipe here We've got a new segment for you called the Weekend Watch. We're loving The Queen's Gambit, The Mandolorian, Lenox Hill and Affliction. The Holidate wasn't a favorite, but if you like Hallmark Style Holiday movies with some swearing, you might enjoy this!
