The Dudleys: The Family that Shook Tudor Court
When it comes to families entwined in the intricate web of Tudor court affairs, none captivate me quite like the Dudleys. From Edmund Dudley to John Dudley, and finally Robert Dudley, their saga unfurled across the entirety of the Tudor era.
Today I welcome back in this revisit episode, Dr. Joanna Paul to discuss the topic of her book, The House of Dudley.

The Impact of the Spanish Monarchy on Tudor Court
Today I am joined by Dr. Emma Cahill Marron to discuss the Spanish monarchy and its impact on Tudor court. Emma and I cover a lot of turf in this episode and we somehow began talking about Anne Boleyn too - you never know where the conversation will lead!
I even got Emma to discuss the "did they or didn't they" debate with Arthur and Katherine!

Customer Reviews
Dr. Emma
Love her! I will never get tired of her.
Love the podcast without her too, but please know her episodes are a highlight!
Loved the latest episode
I loved today’s episode with Dr Taffe about Jane Boleyn. He sounded like a friend you’d have coffee with where deep conversation occurs organically. I’m sorry that he has to defend himself of being accused of misogyny, but he explained his perception and with much respect. It’s clear that he takes his studies seriously and I hope others pick up on that too. I am definitely getting the book. Truth be told, my personal library is expanding with every episode. Thank you for another enlightening podcast.
Highly recommend
Been a listener for a few years now and this podcast continues to get better over time. The quality of the guests is superb and the discussion topics are fascinating with something for everyone and all interest levels. It has introduced me to a number of historians, books, and travel ideas (wolf hall weekend!).
