It was a slap in the face getting diagnosed with ADHD in my mid-30s. It was a sucker punch to learn how hormones relate to ADHD at nearly 40. I'm an ex-journalist who knows how to work Audacity. It just made sense. The Adulting With ADHD Podcast aims to unpack all the things that weren't covered in that glossy brochure from the doctor's office ... there's a lot of nuance that can't fit on a trifold! I talk to experts and patients about how ADHD relates to hormones, trauma, food/eating, and more.
